Women’s Balance Social announcement
I was tasked with designing social posts to announce the rebranding of Women’s Balance. Originally Women’s Plus, the product wasn’t as clear as it could be to consumers, the design was the same as the Women’s formula so many assumed it was a larger bottle rather than a post-menopausal formulation. Due to the repeated confusion the bottle was rebranded as Women’s Balance and the color was changed from green to teal, though the formula stayed the same. Our team wanted to avoid further confusion with our long-time consumers but weren’t sure how to announce that just the bottle design would change, the formula they loved would stay the same. My solution was to transition the bottle in our social announcements. The first video created was an Instagram story, inspired by an 80s time-square billboard, I created an animation that transitioned downward and changed from the old color to the new color while also transitioning the bottle’s branding. I also created a feed version, using a 360 degree images of the old branding rotating into the new branding, with a gradient background that transitioned as it turned.
