THE CAMPAIGN
The Merry Days of Deals Promotion is an annual sale that happens after Black Friday at Chico’s. Our data showed that this week was historically a slow sale week at Chico’s so we wanted to create a campaign that would reignite excitement of the brand’s offerings.
This year my strategy was to use the versatile silhouettes and up close shots of the brand’s holiday campaign paired with a playful typographic palette – the result is bold, modern simplicity that communicates the urgency of the promotion while showcasing the product.
This campaign had cross functional communication; appearing on site as a Hero banner, (above) a Sub banner, (below) Land Page Banners, (right) and being utilized in email and social. (below)
Our target demographic is; strong and fun, sophisticated but adventerous, so our designs should embody that.

THE EMAILS
While the bold photography and typography form the key elements of the campaign design, for email we needed to expand the idea further into targeted sends. To embody the qualities of our target demographic, I utilized base photography that conveyed the playfulness of the season and the bold patterns of the collection.
The result is a versatile design that can hold each product as if it was designed specifically for it and be translated across platforms.
